toreroSpanish is a Romance language of the Ibero-Romance group of northern Spain that eventually spread through out the Kingdom of Castille, evolving into the language primarily spoken in the Iberian Peninsula. Modern Spanish came about of the Readjustment of the Consonants of the 15th century. The language continues to adapt foreign words and create new words.
Approximately 329 million people speak Spanish as their primary language, making it the second-most spoken language in the world in terms of native speakers, after Mandarin Chinese. The country of Mexico has the largest population of Spanish speakers in the world. It is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
